This year has been exciting and eventful for the RENOVATE project. Our partners have showcased our pioneering circular battery solution at prestigious international events and conferences. Alkeemia Battery Forum 2024, in Italy.

Our project coordinator from the National Interuniversity Consortium of Materials Science and Technology – INSTM, and partners:  the University of Pavia and the University of Milano-BicoccaFAAM, and SYENSQO, actively participated, providing key insights and exploring strategies to build a robust and resilient battery supply chain.

Workshop on Emerging Battery Technologies in Oslo, Norway

The RENOVATE team attended this event organized by the BATTERY 2030+ Initiative, the HYDRA H2020 project, and IntelLiGent EU Project. It brought together world-leading battery experts from research and industry to discuss the latest advancements in Li-ion battery research and best practices for shaping the future of battery development. 

Clustering webinar with innovative projects within the battery ecosystem

BATMASS EU Project, RENOVATE, and the LIFE ReLiGHT joined forces in a clustering webinar to discuss their innovative recycling and remanufacturing technologies. Together, collaborate to shape a greener battery future in EU. 

The Italian Chemical Society 2024 – XXVIII National Congress in Milan, Italy

Our partners from SYENSQO participated in this key event for top-level chemists, discussing, networking, and showcasing our project through a dedicated session.

International Symposium on Beyond Li-Ion Batteries 2024 #BeLI24 in Padova, Italy

Young researchers from University of Pavia presented their work on RENOVATE  during the poster session.

Battery Direct Recycling Conference 2024, Würzburg, Germany.

Our partners from FAAM, Helmholtz Institute Ulm HIU Electrochemical Energy Storage, founded by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, and University of Pavia presented the key objectives of RENOVATE EU and its innovative support for the battery recycling scheme. This crucial event connected us all through the Battery2030+ Initiative.

European Raw Materials Clustering Event in Seville, Spain.

Our partners from Iberian Centre for Research in Energy Storage – CIIAE, and LOMARTOV featured RENOVATE, gathering significant interest from stakeholders eager to support the growth of the EU’s battery industry and transition to a circular economy.

The Helmholtz Energy Young Scientist Networking Days 2024 in Frankfurt, Germany.

Our partners from Helmholtz Institute Ulm HIU Electrochemical Energy Storage, founded by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, presented the project, receiving esteemed recognition during the poster session and awards.
